Ijede Council Boss Lauds Residents’ Compliance With Re-Introduced Environmental Sanitation

‎The Executive Chairman, Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon.  Motunrayo Gbadebo – Alogba, has commended residents of Ijede, for their participation in the environmental sanitation exercise.


‎The exercise, which has been suspended for months in the state, was re-introduced recently by the Lagos State Government and commenced today.


‎Hon. Gbadebo – Alogba, who led council officials in monitoring the exercise, commenting on the exercise on her social media handles, said:




‎”In the early hours of today, I led the executive and management teams, legislators, and environmental officials to oversee the re-introduced monthly environmental sanitation exercise across Ijede LCDA.


‎”During the monitoring exercise, I engaged directly with residents, ensuring compliance as the community came out to clean their surroundings and clear drainage channels.


‎”I thank the good people of Ijede for today’s participation. However, greater participation is expected from us all to achieve a cleaner and healthier environment. I also urge us to collaborate with PSP operators for more effective waste disposal.


‎”A clean environment is everyone’s responsibility”.
